ALBUQUERQUE, NM--AUGUST 30, 2024–Dashing Tres and The Marksman V will put their three-race win streaks on the line in Monday's Grade 1, 440-yard All American Derby at Albuquerque Downs.

Offering a purse of $1,076,535, the All American Derby is American Quarter Horse racing's richest race for 3-year-olds.

Dashing Tres is a homebred son of champion Tempting Dash racing for Bob McClure. The gelding has earned $445,548 from six races this year, and his five wins include a neck victory in the 440-yard, $795,000 Rainbow Derby (G1) at Albuquerque Downs on July 27.

Dashing Tres drew post six and will be ridden by Bryan Candanosa for trainer Toby Keeton.

The Marksman V races for Valeriano Racing Stables from the barn of trainer Heath Taylor. A homebred son of world champion Apollitical Jess, the gelding has won all three of his races this year, including the 400-yard, $833,000 Ruidoso Derby G1) on June 8 -- and he has banked $361,737.

The Marksman V drew post two and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.

West Texas Racing Partners' Cowboys Gun Z will be facing stakes company for the first time this season. However, the Flying Cowboy 123 gelding was the sport's champion 2-year-old last year, primarily due to his half-length victory in the sport's richest race, the 440-yard, $3-million All American Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Cowboys Gun Z drew post nine and will be ridden by Agustin Silva for trainer Mike Joiner.
