ALBUQUERQUE, NM--OCTOBER 10, 2024--Miss Hi Tide, a stakes-winning and Grade 1-placed daughter of the Dash Ta Fame stallion Woodbridge campaigned by Uno Menos, is one of 10 state-bred 3-year-olds entered in Sunday’s 400-yard, $442,075 New Mexico State Fair Derby (RG3) at Albuquerque Downs.
Miss Hi Tide is the fifth-fastest qualifier from her 1 3/4-length victory in the second of five trials on September 21. The sorrel filly has earned $201,506 from five races in New Mexico this year, and her two wins include a one-length score in the 350-yard, $175,000 Mountain Top Derby (R) at Ruidoso Downs on June 15. Miss Hi Tide’s season record also includes a second-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Especially Goodcandy, in the 440-yard, $662,000 All American Oaks (G1) on September 2.
