OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MARCH 14, 2025–Ten distaffers, led by multiple stakes winner First Time For Wine, are entered in Saturday's 350-yard, $50,000 Decketta Stakes (G2) at Remington Park.

A homebred daughter of champion First Moonflash racing for Pete Scarmardo of Caldwell, Texas, First Time For Wine opened her 5-year-old season with a second-place finish, a nose behind winner Rockin With Energy, in the January 5, 400-yard Charger Bar Stakes (G1) at Los Alamitos. The mare won two state-bred stakes in Texas last season, including the 400-yard, $59,000 Yellow Rose of Texas Stakes (R) at Lone Star Park on November 2.

First Time For Wine drew post 8 and will be ridden by Edwin Escobedo for trainer John Stinebaugh. The mare's nine opponents include Arrowhead Racing's Alliekat Dynasty, a 4-year-old daughter of champion FDD Dynasty trained by Jesus Ruben Ruiz. A horse for the course, Alliekat Dynasty has won six of her nine starts at Remington Park, and her sophomore season record included a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner I Got Thiss, in last year's 400-yard, $189,000 Remington Park Oaks (R) for Oklahoma-bred fillies.

Alliekat Dynasty drew post 9 and will be ridden by Roman Cruz.

Also on Saturday, six aged runners are entered in the 350-yard, $50,000 Eastex Stakes (G2).

William F. Harned's Mystic Paint, a 4-year-old Pyc Paint Your Wagon stallion trained by Jason Olmstead, will be stretching out in distance off of his second-place finish, three-quarters of a length behind winner Ima Fancy Eye Opener, in the March 9, 250-yard Mighty Deck Three Stakes (RG2) for Oklahoma-breds at Remington Park. The stallion drew post 2 and will be ridden by Francisco Ramirez Jr.

Pete Scarmardo's Hes A Jet One will be making his 5-year-old season debut. A homebred son of Ec Jet One trained by John Stinebaugh, the sorrel gelding won three Texas-bred stakes last season at Lone Star Park and Retama Park.

Hes A Jet One drew post 5 and will be ridden by Ali Rivera.
