VINTON, LA–APRIL 23, 2025–Ninety-three 2-year-olds enter Saturday's 330-yard Old South Futurity trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the 10 heats will meet in the May 17, $50,000-added final.

Coronados Imagine, a gelded son of Coronado Cartel racing for Jose A. Ramos, will be stretching out in distance off of his fourth-place finish, 2 1/2 lengths behind winner Di KVN Waven, in the 300-yard, $347,000 Louisiana Downs Futurity (G2) on March 29, Saul Ramirez Jr. trains the gelding.

Coronados Imagine was a $13,500 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale. The gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Claudio Aguilar in the fifth trial.

Shot Of Takillya is coming off of a fifth-place run in the Louisiana Downs Futurity. Jorge Valenzuela trains the homebred Muddy Waters colt for owner Sunset Well Service Inc.

Shot Of Takillya drew post 7 and will be ridden by Raul Hernandez Jr. in the seventh heat.
