CLAREMORE, OK–OCTOBER 30, 2025—Sunday’s ten-race program at Will Rogers Downs will showcase a full afternoon of racing action beginning at 12:00 PM, highlighted by the $24,000 OQHRA Fall Classic Stakes for three-year-olds and older. The 400-yard feature has drawn a strong, well-matched field of ten, promising a fast and exciting dash to the wire in race nine, scheduled for approximately 3:20 PM.
The 3-1 morning line favorite is Racys Pilot, a five-year-old homebred gelding who enters in top form after back-to-back victories. Sired by Paint My Pilot and out of She Looks Racy (by First Down Dash), Racys Pilot was bred and is owned by Double A Ranch, Inc.
The consistent gelding has compiled seven career wins and total earnings of $133,082, showcasing both class and late-season sharpness. Trained by Rodrigo Covarrubias, Racys Pilot will start from post four with Jaime Mata aboard as he looks to extend his winning streak.
Trainer Jason L. Olmstead will be well-represented in the field with two key contenders—Cardiac Cowboy and Relentless Legacy—both considered major threats to the favorite.
Cardiac Cowboy, the 7-2 second choice on the morning line, is a four-year-old gelding by Flying Cowboy 123 out of Southard Cartel (by Carters Cartel). Bred in Oklahoma by Jo Rice, he races for owners Lou Ann and Tom Smith and Amber Olmstead.
A proven stakes performer, Cardiac Cowboy enters off a strong victory in the G3 $50,000 Two Rivers Stakes in September, pushing his record to ten wins and $365,859 in earnings. Armando Alvidrez retains the mount as the pair look to repeat their winning effort.
With a field packed with experience and speed, the OQHRA Fall Classic Stakes promises to deliver a thrilling feature for fans and bettors alike. From seasoned campaigners like Racys Pilot and Cardiac Cowboy to emerging challengers looking to make their mark, the 400-yard sprint at Will Rogers Downs should provide a competitive and action-packed finish to Sunday’s card.
The Will Rogers Downs races can be watched on Q-Racing Video.
