SELMA, TX–FEBRUARY 13, 2026– Retama Park continues its schooling races on February 18 with 75 horses entered across 12 juvenile events. The non-pari-mutuel races will be contested at 250 yards and are designed to give 2-year-olds early racing experience ahead of the upcoming season.
Two six-figure sale graduates are among those entered.
Running in race 8 is $100,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate Not A Little Deal, a half-brother to Hawkabye Baby ($133,058), winner of the Old South Futurity and a Grade 1 finalist. The Dealagame gelding is out of a half-sister to Champion Kiss My Hocks, a sire of more than $17 million, and leading sire Chilitos, a sire of more than $3 million. His second dam is graded stakes placed Romancing Mary ($163,294), a half-sister to Grade 1 Oklahoma-Bred Futurity winner San Lorenzo Ivory ($421,300) and two-time Grade 1 winner Gold Digging Ashley ($355,195). Bred by Tyler and Naia Graham, Not A Little Deal was purchased by Reynaldo Munoz at the TQHA Yearling Sale and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. for trainer Bobby Muniz Pena.
Race 10 features the $135,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate Not Tonite Cowboy. Bred by M & M Jungers and R & R Reynolds, the filly was a $135,000 repurchase and is owned in partnership by Jungers, Reynolds, Bryant, Mill and Rodriguez. She is trained by Marc Jungers. The filly is by champion and leading sire Flying Cowboy 123, sire of more than $17.2 million, and out of All About Tonight ($16,075), runner-up in the West Texas Juvenile Invitational. Her female family traces to Champion and All American Futurity (G1) winner Strawberry Silk ($1,266,263), dam of Champion Stoli ($332,237), as well as graded stakes winners Whathaveigottado and Rousing Encore and stakes winners Cashington and Pappasito.
Flying Cowboy 123 is strongly represented in the entries with 11 juveniles entered. The champion sire’s runners include two-time Champion and All American Futurity (G1) winner Cowboys Gun Z ($1,370,517) and two-time Champion and Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1) winner Lethal Cowboy 123 ($1,426,127).
