OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–April 1, 2026
The Thursday and Friday cards at Remington Park will showcase twenty-four trials, twelve each day, for the RG1 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity, as 218 Oklahoma-bred juveniles line up over two nights with one goal in mind, stop the clock. Only the top five times from each day will advance to the estimated $1,100,000 RG1 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity final on April 18, while the next five fastest from each night will return for the $100,000 Juvenile.

On Thursday night, all eyes turn to trainer Jason Olmstead, who sends out nineteen runners, led by his standout colt Tymetogojoe in the fourth trial at 7-5 morning line odds. The son of Hes Relentless is out of champion filly Pj Chick In Black and is a half-brother to five black-type runners, including Sooner State Stakes (G1) winner Hes Limitless and Bob Moore Memorial Stakes (G2) winner Ls Jacks Back.

A standout from the Heritage Place September Yearling Sale, Tymetogojoe races for William F. Harned and was bred in Oklahoma by Southfork Equine, LLC and Ls Racing, Inc. Regular rider Ramiro H. Garcia will guide the colt from post six.

Earlier in the second trial, Shes an Nme headlines the field at 8-5 odds for trainer James J. Gonzales II. The filly has impressed in the mornings with a bullet gate work on February 25 and followed that effort with the sixth-fastest time from 103 workers on March 12, signaling a sharp and calculated approach heading into the trials.

Purchased for $45,000 at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale by Tykhe Racing, LLC, she is also by Hes Relentless and out of Send Your Candy by Pyc Paint Your Wagon. Bred in Oklahoma by PV Quarter Horse Farms, LLC, she will break from post two under jockey Bryan Candanosa.

Later in the tenth trial, Dangerous Leigh enters as a 3-1 morning line favorite and one of the most talked-about juveniles of the night. The filly made headlines in February when she powered through a 16-mph headwind to post the fastest training race time of the day, earning a 74-speed index.

By Apollitical Jess and out of the Favorite Cartel mare Danjerous, she is a half-sister to the late multiple World Champion Quarter Horse Danjer. Purchased for $130,000 at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, the Oklahoma-bred filly was bred by Taos River Ranch, LLC, and will be saddled by trainer Trey Wood with Ricky Ramirez aboard from post two.

Across twelve trials on Thursday, 109 juveniles will dash 330 yards, each aiming to secure one of the coveted top five times to advance.

Friday’s second night of trials brings another wave of talent, with the fourth trial shaping up as one of the most competitive of the two-day series.

Aj Time To Fly, installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite, breaks from the rail for Jason Olmstead. The colt recorded a 250-yard gate work in 13.89 on March 12, ranking twentieth out of 103 workers.

An $85,000 purchase from the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, he is by Apollitical Jess and out of Famous Phoebe by Dash Ta Fame, bred in Oklahoma by Rancho El Cabresto, Inc. Ramiro H. Garcia will be aboard from the inside post.

To his outside, Eyesa Chick Magnet looms as a serious contender at 7-2 odds for breeder-owner-trainer Stacy Charette-Hill. The gelding enters off a confident maiden-breaking victory, scoring by three-quarters of a length in preparation for these trials.

By Pyc Paint Your Wagon and out of Eyesa Candy Chick by Country Chicks Man, he will break from post nine with Cristian Esqueda in the irons.

Later in the tenth trial on Friday, Js Pyc headlines the field at 2-1 morning line odds. The gelding already proved his grit at Remington Park, breaking his maiden in a tight finish where he prevailed by a nose.

By Pyc Paint Your Wagon and out of As and Js by Apollitical Jess, he was bred and is trained by Leonardo Alcala and races for Marisol Alvarado. Jockey Juan Pulido will be aboard from post six.

As the two nights of trials conclude, the spotlight will shift to the ten fastest qualifiers, five from each night, who will return to contest the estimated $1,100,000 RG1 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity on April 18. Just beneath them, another ten juveniles will earn a second opportunity in the $100,000 Juvenile, ensuring that every fraction of a second matters in one of the most competitive Oklahoma-bred showcases of the season.
