OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MAY 27, 2026–The final night of the Remington Park meet promises a spectacular sendoff as Oklahoma’s richest night of Quarter Horse racing takes center stage Saturday evening. A loaded twelve-race program featuring the nation’s top Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas will bring together championship contenders, rising stars, and fan favorites for an unforgettable night under the lights. With the first race at 5:00 PM, the stage is set for an evening of elite competition, dramatic finishes, and million-dollar moments.

As the stakes continue to climb throughout the evening, all eyes will turn to the sophomore divisions in the ninth and tenth races, where some of the sport’s brightest three-year-olds will return, hoping to add another major victory to their resumes.

The Grade 2 $335,800 Heritage Place Derby headlines the tenth race, with the ten fastest qualifiers from the May 9th trials set to battle at 400 yards at approximately 9:23 PM. The talented field is led by dual-registered standout Jc Speeding, the 5-2 morning-line favorite, who has continued to prove himself among the elite runners in his division.

Jc Speeding earned his place in the final after overcoming a troubled start, winning his trial by a nose with a strong late run. His sophomore season has been exceptional, with victories in two trial heats and a narrow second-place finish in the Grade 1 $218,000 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby. The powerful colt has now won seven races, banking $314,592 for owners Planefun, LLC.

The son of Chilitos, out of the High Rate of Return mare High Speed Kitty, was bred in Oklahoma by Richard Joneson. Meet-leading trainer Dee Keener will send him out from post nine, with leading rider James A. Flores back aboard, as they look to close the meet with another major score.

Just one race earlier, the spotlight shines on the Grade 2 $373,800 Heritage Place Oaks, as the ten fastest sophomore fillies from the May 10th trials line up for their shot at championship glory. Scheduled for approximately 8:52 PM, the Oaks features a deep and talented field of fillies going 400 yards.

California invader Toby Sis enters as the 7-2 morning-line favorite after an impressive trial, drawing away from trouble to win by three-quarters of a length. The accomplished filly already owns one of the sport’s most prestigious victories, having captured the Grade 1 Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity during her outstanding juvenile campaign. She also finished a close second in the Grade 2 PCQHRA Breeders’ Futurity and has compiled an incredible record of six wins and one second-place finish from seven starts, earning $861,932 for Valeriano Racing Stables, LLC.

The daughter of Favorite Cartel, out of the Walk Thru Fire mare London Laura, was bred in California by Edward C. Allred. Trainer Jesus Nunez will saddle the talented filly from post six, with Francisco Calderon taking the call.

As the evening progresses, anticipation only intensifies, leading into the Grade 1 $1,158,940 Heritage Place Futurity, the richest race of the night and the grand finale of the Remington Park season. Saturday’s card brings together the very best of Quarter Horse racing, from elite Paint and Appaloosa competitors to nationally recognized Quarter Horse stars, creating a championship atmosphere from start to finish.

With prestigious titles, massive purses, and unforgettable performances all on the line, Remington Park is set to deliver a closing night worthy of one of the sport’s premier racing meets.
