PRINEVILLE, OR–JULY 16, 2026–Friday evening at Crooked River Roundup promises an exciting night of Quarter Horse racing, with a 10-race program kicking off at 7:15 p.m. The card is highlighted by two featured stakes events, the $8,000 Prineville Quarter Horse Futurity for juveniles and the $13,000 Eduardo Gutierrez-Sosa Memorial Stakes for older fillies and mares, offering fans and horseplayers an outstanding evening of competition.

The featured $13,000 Eduardo Gutierrez-Sosa Memorial Stakes will be run as the seventh race of the evening at approximately 9:45 p.m. A field of eight fillies and mares, three years old and up, will sprint 250 yards in pursuit of the winner's share of the purse.

Leading the field is RTM Hot Milk, who enters off a strong runner-up finish in the Idaho Cup Derby, finishing just three-quarters of a length behind the winner. The talented three-year-old filly enjoyed a flawless juvenile campaign, winning all four of her starts, including victories in both the Idaho Cup Futurity and the Idaho Bred Quarter Horse Futurity. She has compiled an impressive record of four wins, one second, and one third from six career starts, earning $36,325 for owner RTM Stables, LLC.

The Idaho-bred daughter of Kiss My Hocks is out of the Chickie Cherry Cola mare RTM Say Your Prayers and was bred by Susan T. Hanson. Trained by Mark Hanson, she will break from post five with jockey Jaime E. Lopez.

On the card earlier, the fifth race at approximately 8:55 p.m. will feature the $8,000 Prineville Quarter Horse Futurity. Eight talented two-year-olds will line up to race 250 yards in the first of the evening's two stakes events.

Docs Flaming Card brings strong stats into the future after winning his trial and following that effort with a determined head victory in the Firecracker Futurity Consolation at Grants Pass. The Oregon-bred colt has won two of his three career starts, earning $9,300.

Owned and bred by Adrian Oliva Gomez, Docs Flaming Card is sired by Docs Best Card and out of the Separatist mare Separate Flame. Jose A. Rosales Gomez trains the promising juvenile, who will break from post two with Jose C. Guerrero aboard.

Friday night's program at Crooked River Roundup features an accomplished stakes winner headlining the Eduardo Gutierrez-Sosa Memorial Stakes and a competitive field of rising juveniles set to contest the Prineville Quarter Horse Futurity, offering an entertaining showcase of Quarter Horse racing and promising plenty of excitement from the opening race through the final stakes event.
