Yo Morning Delite, the 4-1 morning-line favorite, headlines Sunday's $23,750 Unita County Accredited Wyoming Bred Maturity Stakes at Wyoming Downs with Jacob Cardenas aboard.

EVANSTON, WY–JULY 18, 2026–Sunday afternoon at Wyoming Downs will feature a 10-race card with a first post at 1:05 p.m. The featured event on the program is the $23,750 Unita County Accredited Wyoming Bred Maturity Stakes, in which a field of 10 Wyoming-breds, ages four and up, will sprint 400 yards in race five at approximately 2:45 p.m.

Yo Morning Delite has been installed as the 4-1 morning-line favorite as the veteran gelding seeks to add another stakes victory to his accomplished résumé. Although his 2026 campaign has been quieter than in previous seasons, his best effort came in May, when he finished second in the Energy Downs Stakes. The six-year-old enters Sunday's feature fresh after a brief break and will look to return to the winner's circle.

Consistent throughout his career, Yo Morning Delite has won 19 races and earned $244,239 for owner and breeder Gerald F. Kaul. The Wyoming homebred is a son of Brindis Por Cayenne, out of the Southern Corona mare RS Afternoon Delite. Jess R. Matt trains the accomplished gelding, who will break from post four with Jacob Cardenas aboard.

Famoushandsomeman has been tabbed as the 4-1 second choice after an impressive winning streak. The gelding has captured two allowance victories this season, following a 2025 campaign that ended with a win, giving him three consecutive wins entering Sunday's stakes. He has compiled a career record of four wins, three second-place finishes, and two thirds, earning $45,069.

The Wyoming-bred son of One Handsome Man is out of the Woodbridge mare Nowshesfamous and was bred by Lisa Lozano. Racing as a lessee for owner-trainer Robby Overturf, Famoushandsomeman will break from post eight with jockey Cerapio Figueroa in the saddle.

With accomplished veterans and in-form challengers lining up for the featured event, the $23,750 Unita County Accredited Wyoming Bred Maturity Stakes is set to be one of the highlights of the Wyoming Downs meet. Fans can look forward to an exciting afternoon as some of the state's top older runners compete for Wyoming-bred honors.
