John Lee, Kathy Lee and Ruben Mares' Kj Desparado finally got a clean trip and under hand urging by jockey Adrian Ramos the gelding won the richest 2-year-old race in the world, the $3-million All American Futurity Monday afternoon at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.
The Ruidoso Futurity(G1) and Rainbow Futurity(G1) winner Jess Savin Candy failed as the favorite to become the second Ruidoso 2-Year-Old Triple Crown winner in history.
