CLAREMORE, OK—SEPTEMBER 7, 2021—This week hair testing at Will Rogers Downs will be conducted on Wednesday from 2:30 a.m. until 7:00 pm and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

Horsemen and women can still make an appointment for this week by calling (405) 881-5120. Samples collected on Wednesday 9/8 will be good through 10/23 and samples collected on Thursday 9/9 will be good through 10/24.

Beginning next week testing will be conducted on Tuesday's only 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm to 6:00. pm This is a change from the original schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be no testing on Wednesdays.

You must make an appointment by noon the day prior by calling or texting (405) 881-5120. Please note the lab is allowed 10 business days to report negative test results to the racing office. Results must be returned by the lab before you can enter.

OQHRA Hair Testing Staff does not get any results. We do not know if results are back or what the outcome of the test is, you must contact the racing secretary for that information. If a positive test is reported the racing secretary will notify the trainer that submitted the horse for testing.

Qualifier Testing for opening weekend stakes races:
Tuesday 9/14. Qualifiers must test between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
