Nomination forms for the 2023 the $600,000-est. TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) are due November 1st

ELGIN, TX–SEPTEMBER 29, 2022–Nomination forms for the 2023 the $600,000-est. TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) are due November 1st and can be found on the TQHA website.

Foals of 2021 who passed through the 2022 TQHA Yearling Sale are eligible to enter. In the event 100 or more horses enter the trials a TQHA Sale Juvenile will also be included.

The race will again be held at Retama Park with the trials scheduled for July 7, 2023, and the finals are scheduled for July 29, 2023.

TQHA is currenlty mailing nomination forms to buyers that purchased horses at the 2022 TQHA Yearling Sale.  The first payment of $300 is due November 1, 2022.

Also in 2023 TQHA will sponsor the $50,000-added TQHA Sale Sophomore Stakes.  This race will be open to 3-year-olds that passed through the 2021 TQHA Yearling Sale. 

The TQHA Sale Sophomore Stakes will be run on July 28, 2023 at Retama Park at a distance of 400 yards.  The highest lifetime money earners will be preferred.  THERE WILL NOT BE TRIALS.   

There will be a $500 nomination fee and a $500 fee to enter the TQHA Sale Sophomore Stakes.   More details on this race will announced later.
