Time of entry payments for the Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1) are due October 19 and October 20.

ELGIN, TX–OCTOBER 5, 2022–A final reminder that the "At Time Of Entry Payment of $1,200" per horse for the upcoming Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1) needs to be in your Texas Horsemen’s Bookkeeper account on or before entry day. 

Entry day for the Texas Classic Futurity trials is Oct. 19th and entry day for the Texas Classic Derby trials is Oct. 20th.

"These payments do not go to the TQHA or Lone Star Park.  They should be sent to the Texas Horsemen’s Partnership," Scott Sherwood, TQHA Director Of Racing said. 

Also note, if you have run horses in Texas before you can call the Texas Horsemen’s Partnership at 512-467-9799 and they can check your account and if you already have the money in your account you do not need to send in the payment as they will just deduct it from what is already in your account.

If you do need to deposit money into your account you can do so by taking it directly to the THP horsemen’s bookkeeper at Lone Star Park or you can mail your check (made payable to Texas Horsemen’s Bookkeeper) to:

Please be sure and put a note in with the payment that lets them know the horses name and the EXACT ownership as it appears on the horses’ papers.  This will alleviate any issues with what account the money needs to go in.
