SAN ANTONIO, TX—APRIL 15, 2024—150th Run for the Roses will take place on Saturday, May 4 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, and the only place to bet on it in the San Antonio-Austin Metroplex is at Retama Park in Selma. Reservations for popular Terrace Dining and Clubhouse 95 Sports Bar Restaurant are open to the public, beginning today.

This year’s festivities include official Kentucky Derby merchandise and authentic memorabilia, along with Mint Juleps in commemorative 150th Kentucky Derby glasses, and a $600 Hat Con-test. Retama Park gates open on May 4 at 8:30 a.m. and all the races from Churchill Downs can be bet on at Retama Park, including the Kentucky Derby which will take place at 5:57 p.m. CT.

Online reservations can be made for reserved dining experiences in the Terrace Dining and Clubhouse 95, and reserved Box Seats on the Clubhouse Level (3rd Floor). General Admission can also be purchased in advance to avoid any lines when arriving at Retama Park. There will be plenty of seating on the Grandstand Level (2nd Floor) and Track Level (1st Floor) for fans. The Retama Park Reservations number is 210-651-7100.

LIVE RACING RETURNS – JUNE 27

The Retama Park Quarter Horse meet will get underway on Thursday, June 27, 2024 and offer 23-nights of live racing - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 6:15 pm (Central) through Sat-urday, August 17. A complete list of promotions and marketing activities will be announced on May 15, including Thursday $1 Beer Nights, Live Music and Reverse Happy Hours on Fridays, Camel and Ostrich races, Fireworks in July and many other activities returning to Retama Park this summer.
