AMARILLO, TX–SEPTEMBER 27, 2024–Hotel reservations for the AQHA Racing Conference and Challenge Championships are due Saturday, October 5.

Everyone is invited to attend the AQHA Racing Challenge Championships, alongside the AQHA Racing Conference at The Downs At Albuquerque from October 23 - 26.

Qualifiers from regional races across the United States, Canada, and Mexico will send their top candidates to compete in five divisions. This premier event showcases some of the sport's finest older horses and the next generation of leaders—futurity and derby horses, the country's top fillies and mares, and distance specialists.

A few highlights from our schedule include:

> Wednesday, October 23: AQHA Racing Challenge
    Championships Post-Position Draw
> Thursday, October 24: AQHA Racing Workshop
> Friday, October 25: AQHA Racing Committee meeting, plus
   you're invited to attend the Lip Chip Welcome Reception
   presented by The Downs beginning at 6 p.m.
   Please RSVP if you're planning to attend.
> Saturday, October 26: Owners Recognition Brunch,
   Racing Council Meeting and, Handicapping with Ed Burgart.
   Post time for the AQHA Racing Challenge
   Championships is 6 p.m. (MDT).

Embassy Suites by Hilton in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the "Host Hotel" for the conference and championships. CLICK HERE TO MAKE ONLINE HOTEL RESERVATION or call (505) 245-7100 and ask to book under the "2024 AQHA Racing Challenge room block."

The hotel reservation cutoff date for discounted rooms is Saturday, October 5th.

If you have not registered for the Conference / Championship Night, CLICK HERE.  You MUST make table reservations with the Turf Club if you plan to purchase dinner and watch the races. AQHA can NOT make the reservations for you. Please call (505) 400-5701 to reserve your table. Please also mention you are attending the AQHA Racing Challenge Championships.
