AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION—Bank of America Racing Challenge-enrolled distaffers have a great opportunity for racing in Louisiana with the addition of the Q-Racing Video Delta Distaff Challenge, to be run in mid-August.

The race is open to fillies and mares age 3 and up, and will be held at Delta Downs at Vinton, Louisiana. Nominations for the Q-Racing Video Delta Distaff Challenge close June 1 and sustaining or late payments close July 1.

The race, which will offer a $20,000-added purse, is set to be held on August 19. Delta Downs is hosting dates normally run at Fair Grounds Race Course at New Orleans.

The winner of the race is eligible to receive an invitation to the Bank of America Challenge Championships, which will be held at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, Texas.

Last year, the Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship was a Grade 1 event and carried a purse of $109,877.
