Thirty-nine 2-year-olds, headed by Casey Whitaker's BF Viral Interest, are entered in Saturday's 330-yard Beehive Futurity (R) trials at Laurel Brown Racetrack near Salt Lake City.

A gray daughter of Seperate Interest trained by Sergio Canales, BF Viral Interest will be stretching out in distance off of her third-place finish, one length behind winner All Tyme High, in the 300-yard, $54,000 Hadley/Giles Futurity at Weber Downs near Ogden, Utah. The filly has earned $6,960 from two races.

BF Viral Interest drew post 6 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales in the fifth of six trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the May 30 Beehive Futurity final.

Also on Saturday, 16 aged runners are entered in two 350-yard Lazy Duce Ranch Maturity trials.

RTM Stables' The Prize Ferrari will make his first-ever start at Laurel Brown in the first heat. A 4-year-old son of The Louisiana Cartel and a $22,000 purchase at the 2019 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, the brown gelding will be making his first official start since October 23, when he ran fourth, two lengths behind winner JC Wild King, in the 400-yard, $155,000 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3) at Albuquerque Downs.

The Prize Ferrari has won 10 of 15 starts -- including five of seven at the 350-yard distance -- and he has banked $101,197. The gelding drew post 2 and will be ridden by Nakia Teeter for trainer Mark Hanson.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the May 30 Lazy Duce Ranch Maturity final.
