The industry's leading sire, four of the last five years, has stood under the management of James Ranch since 2017. David James announced last week that he would be retiring at the end of this year.

"We have been so very happy with our association with David James and James Ranch over the years, and David has not only been great to our family but also loves the horses we have stood at his ranch as much as we do," Rancho El Cabresto, Inc.'s Juan Tirado said today.

"David James has been very successful with managing our stallion interests, and the Tirado family would like to wish him nothing but success as he moves to retire from the business."

Apollitical Jess will join the Bob Moore Farm stallion roster that includes world champion sire FDD Dynasty, leading third-crop sire Hes Relentless, leading second-crop sire Docs Best Card and two-time AQHA Racing Champion Flying Cowboy 123.

"We feel very blessed and fortunate to now be associated with Juan Tirado, and the whole staff at Bob Moore Farms is just ecstatic with the news. We feel that Apollitical Jess will absolutely add so much more depth to our already stellar roster of stallions, and we are thoroughly looking forward towards the breeding season of 2022."

"It was a tough decision of where to stand Apollitical Jess, and we feel strongly that our decision to go with Bob Moore Farm is what is best for the stallion moving forward," Tirado continued.
