Grade 1 Winner / Grade 1 Stakes Sire Bodacious Dash to Wyoming For 2023

BEAR RIVER, WY–JULY 16, 2022–Bodacious Dash SI 101, a Grade.1 winning son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash and a Grade 1 stakes sire will stand the 2023 breeding season at Woods Farm in Bear RIver, Wyoming.  His 2023 fee has not been announced. He is the property of Bobby Simmons and Trent Woods.

From eight crops to reach the track Bodacious Dash has sired 84 winners, 17 black type, earners of $2.3 million with average earnings per starter of $12,651.

In two seasons at the track, Bodacious Dash won or placed 13 of 16 career starts, earning $756,495. He won the Texas Classic Futurity(G1), was second in the Rainbow Derby(G1), The Championship at Sunland Park(G1) and third in the Ruidoso Futurity(G1).  He was also a finalist in the Rainbow Futurity(G1) and Dash For Cash Futurity(G1).

His sire First Down Dash SI 105 is the all-time leading sire of everything with more 36 champions 258 stakes winners and earners of nearly $90 million.

Bodacious Dash's dam is the RG2 winning Mr Jess Perry mare St Pats Tea SI 109 ($95,791. She is the dam of 19 ROM, 16 winners, 3 black type including Bodacious Dash SI 101 (see above), Grade 2 winner Native Tea Rose SI 90 ($260,905), and Grade 2 winner St Pats First SI 108 ($173,113).  She is also the granddam of stakes winners Rock That Wagon SI 99 ($123,399) and Rob That Wagon SI 109 ($106,993), etc.
