ROCK SPRINGS, WY–SEPTEMBER 5, 2022–Veteran rider Uriel Dominguez won aboard six-of-six mounts on Sunday at Sweetwater Downs in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Ross Brown and Elsha McGarry's Er Switching Mtns gave Dominguez his sixth winner of the day in the 10th race on Sunday when he cruised to a one-length win. The son of multiple stakes sire Jr Dynasty Mountain completed the 330 yards in :16.550 seconds to earn a 111 speed index. Ross Brown is also the trainer.

Dominguez kicked off the day in the opening race with a 1-1/2 length win aboard Kellys First in a 2-year-old maiden race. David Hinkins owns the daughter of leading sire First Moonflash. Uriel Dominquez, Sr. trains.

His second win came in the second race with S and S Racing LLC's Fannin The Sparks, also trained by Dominquez, Sr.

In Race 4 he rode his third winner, Jose Rico's Jr Dynasty Mountain filly, Dynasty Switch, to a one-length win in a $7,600 Allowance for trainer Riley Moosman.

Dominguez returned in Race 5 to get his fourth winner of the day aboard The Iron Chef. The gray filly scored an $8,000 Allowance victory for owner s Chuck and Erica Jaure. Dru Hall was the conditioner.

The jockeys fifth winner came aboard Ud Goldenboy in the Race 6, a $7,500 QH Allowance. Also trained by Uriel Dominguez, Sr., the son of Jr Dynasty Mountain races for owner Lucero Dominguez.

Sunday's six-win day moved Dominguez into the top jockey spot for the current Sweetwater Downs meet that began August 20 and runs thru October 2.  He has ridden nine winners from 30 mounts for a 30% win clip and finished in the top three 47% of the time.

According to Equibase records, since 2009 Dominguez has ridden 2,080 races with 378 wins, 356 seconds and 278 thirds. His mounts have earned more than $2 million dollars and include multiple stakes winners Ud Goldenboy and Long Lost Buddy and stakes winners Cowboyhatbygucci and Eyesa Special Gunner to name only a few.
