LEXINGTON, KY–MARCH 7, 2023–Stall applications for the upcoming Sandy Ridge at The Red Mile live Quarter Horse race meet are due Friday, March 10.

Sandy Ridge will offer six consecutive days, April 1-6,  of AQHA-sanctioned quarter horse racing with a daily average purse of $200,000.

The $45,000 Cherokee Stakes to be contested opening day, April 1 and the $45,000-added BOCO Stakes will run closing Day, April 6.  Post times daily are set for 2:00 p.m. (EST).

A $50,000 "Trainer Bonus" will paid for the Quarter Horse meet as follows:

> Most Trainer Wins: 1st Place-$15,000 2nd- $10,000 3rd-$5,000
> Most Trainer Starts: 1st Place-$10,000 2nd- $6,000 3rd-$4,000

All owners who start a horse at Sandy Ridge at The Red Mile are guaranteed a minimum of $500 per start, trainers a minimum of $200 per start, plus $100 jockey mount fee per trip for those finishing out of the money.
