RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–JULY 11, 2023–TYKHE Racing's Dark NME, a daughter of Hes Relentless and a $65,000 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale, will put her perfect record on the line in Sunday's 400-yard, $1-million Rainbow Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Trained by Santos Carrizales Jr., Dark NME has earned $349,062 from four races, and her four wins include a clear 2 1/2-length victory in the April 22, $804,000 Remington Park Futurity RG1 for Oklahom-breds, and a 3 1/4-length win in one of 16 Rainbow Futurity trials on June 30, the first of two days of trials. The filly drew post 7 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.

Dark NME is the fastest overall qualifier.

A $27,000 buy at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale, the gelding has won three of four races, including the 350-yard, $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile Stakes at Remington Park on June 3, and he has banked $50,364.

One Valiant Love is the second-fastest overall qualifier. The gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Armando Cervantes.

Midnight Politics is a Grade 1-placed Apollitical Jess gelding trained by Jason Olmstead. The third-fastest qualifier, the homebred gelding has earned $165,304 from four outs, and he is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which he ran third, three-quarters of a length behind winner San Lencho, in Oklahoma's richest horse race, the 350-yard, $1.208 Heritage Place Futurity (G1).

Midnight Politics drew post 10 and will be ridden by Edwin Escobedo.
