NEW ORLEANS, LA–JUNE 7, 2024–LQHBA announced today that the second annual $150,000-est. Big Easy Futurity will be contested at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans this year.

The $50,000-added Big Easy Futurity, open to all Quarter Horse foals of 2022, will be run on Saturday, September 13. Trials are slated for Friday, August 23.

Owners and trainers wishing to participate must nominate their 2-year-olds by Friday, July 5.

The Big Easy Futurity nomination schedule:

>$500 on or before July 5, 2024
>$500 due day before trial entry (August 22, 2024).
>Supplements at $2,000 can made Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

All Final payments and supplemental nominations must be on account with the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper before NOON the day before entry to trials. Cash or Cashier Check only!
