The three-year-old Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt was bred in Oklahoma by Cavenaugh Quarter Horses LLC and is owned by William F. Harned. During his two-year-old campaign, Mystic Paint finished third in the Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Mystery Futurity (G2) at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Oklahoma.
