In this episode, StallioneSearch interviews 2022 AQHA World Champion trainer M. Heath Taylor about The Marksman V, the second-fastest qualifier for the 2024 Ruidoso Derby(G1).

A third-place finisher in the 2023 Texas Classic Juvenile,  the gelded-son of leading sire Apollitical Jess qualified in his first outing in 2024 under the tutelage of his new trainer, Heath Taylor. 

The trial race that The Marksman V won also included two other qualifiers (grade 1 runners Wired 440 and San Lencho) who made the field of the 400-yard finals.
