ELGIN, TX–APRIL 3, 2025–Nomination blanks for the 2025  $75,000 Added Sires Cup Futurity (RG2) and the $50,000 Added Sires Cup Derby are due on April 15th.

The PRELIMINARY list of eligible stallions (as of April 3) can be found on the TQHA website by CLICKING HERE.

When filling out the nomination blanks, please complete the form in its’ entirety.

Nominators can mail in the completed form with a check or money order to;

If you want to pay with a credit card you can fill out the credit card information on the form and either mail it in or email to ssherwood@tqha.com.

This race is open to ALL foals of sires that are on the eligibility list.

NOTE: This list is PRELIMINARY and will likely change as the stallion owner's buy-back period continues. Also, note that the list is three pages long, so be sure you scroll through all the pages to see all the eligible sires.

The list is divided into three colored sections. If your horse's sire is listed under the BLUE header or the GREEN header, then your horse is eligible for the Sires Cup Futurity. If your horse's sire is listed under the BLUE header or the PURPLE header, then your horse is eligible for the Sires Cup Derby.

In 2024, the Sires Cup Futurity purse was $205,000, and the Sires Cup Derby purse was $105,000.
