The field underwent a late shake-up when fastest-qualifier House Of Lords was scratched by the track veterinarian, leaving nine contenders to battle for the Grade 1 title.

Reigning Ruidoso Derby (G1) and Texas Classic Futurity (G1) winner FDD Dreams delivered another stellar performance, surging past rivals in the final 50 yards to secure the 2025 All American Derby (G1) victory. The homebred, campaigned by La Feliz Montana Ranch LLC and trained by Xavier Rodriguez, gave his connections a dream outcome by also finishing one-two in the race. Stablemate Ariatt closed strongly to claim the runner-up spot and complete the exacta for Rodriguez’s barn.
