Ridden by Ramiro Garcia, the Texas-bred son of One Famous Eagle out of Cartel Regards by Corona Cartel earned $68,966 for the victory.
In the Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3), the finish came down to a tight photo as Mysterious Cartel held off a late-charging Whata Lota Boy to score his first career stakes victory.
