GRANDE PRAIRIE, TX–OCTOBER 20, 2025–Due to the forecasted weather, The Sam Thompson Memorial Foundation, in partnership with Lip Chip LLC, has rescheduled “A Night at the Races” to November 15th. This event will now coincide with the Texas Classic Futurity, Derby, and Oaks finals at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie.

The evening will feature live racing, dinner and bar service, and plenty of surprises for attendees as they enjoy one of the most anticipated trial nights of the year. Tickets are priced at $100, with proceeds benefiting individuals in need within the horse racing community.

Highlights of the evening also include a live auction featuring a custom masterpiece by equine artist Josey Butler. Three private suites will be available throughout the trials.
