Remington Park has set the dates for the 2026 Schooling Races.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—DECEMBER 30, 2025—Remington Park has announced the 2026 schooling races schedule, to be held on February 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26.

Entries will be taken on Fridays, with races drawn on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. Jockey agents must be present at the draw to name riders, and no more than 14 schooling races will be run on any single day.

The first scheduled race begins with entries taken on Friday, February 6, for races to be conducted on Wednesday, February 11, and Thursday, February 12. The second set of races will take entries on Friday, February 13, with races scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, and Thursday, February 19. The final group of schooling races will take entries on Friday, February 20, and will be run on Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26.

Each schooling race entry carries a total fee of $125, which includes a $50 schooling race fee and a $75 jockey mount fee. The addition of the jockey mount payment follows an agreement reached after riders requested compensation for schooling race mounts. No horse will be drawn into a schooling race unless the full fee is on file with the bookkeepers, and there will be no exceptions.

Two additional requirements will be strictly enforced. Foal registration papers must be on file prior to entry, and owner accounts must have sufficient funds to cover the entry fee. These measures are designed to ensure proper identification of horses and to prevent delays or issues during the draw process.

OQHRA encourages all participants to prepare early by confirming paperwork and funding well ahead of the entry deadlines, ensuring a smooth and efficient schooling race program for the 2026 season at Remington Park.
