KINDER, LA—AUGUST 2, 2026—StallioneSearch.com concludes its webcast recap coverage of the 2026 LQHBA Yearling Sale at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, with the release of its Saturday session recap, highlighted by the sale's highest-selling yearling.
The second-day webcast features the session's three highest-priced yearlings, all eligible for the $1 million 2027 LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity (RG1) at Evangeline Downs.
During the two-day sale, 329 yearlings sold from 425 offered for gross receipts of $6,210,700. While fewer horses were offered and sold than in 2025, the market showed solid strength. The average sale price increased 11.7 percent to $18,878, up from $16,905 a year ago, while the median jumped 27.3 percent, rising from $11,000 to $14,000.
