Eddie Willis, 12-Time Remington Park Training Title Holder, Gets Four-Bagger To Move Up In Standings
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 25, 2024–Trainer Eddie Willis, who has won 12 training titles at Remington Park, had a huge night Thursday, winning with four horses. Jimmy Brooks won with three of the horses while Justine Klaiber won with Paint This Rose.
Willis took the third, seventh, eighth and 10th races, winning with MH Spy the Lights (5-1), Paint This Rose (8-5), Flying N Gold Digger (5-1) and Favorite Politician (9-2), respectively.
The breakout night for Willis moved him from 11 wins in fifth place as the night started to fourth place with 15 trips to the winner’s circle this ... 
PHOENIX, AZ–APRIL 25, 2024–Rompe Corazonez, who qualified with the third fastest time in the trials, isn't breaking hearts today. The two-year-old bay filly pulled off her victory with an upset in the finals of the $56,075 AQRA Turf Paradise Presidents Open Futurity on Thursday afternoon.
Jockey Joseph Belloc Jr piloted Rompe Corazonez to her first place finish in :15.843 seconds clocking a 89 speed index against an 8 mph headwind. OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 20, 2024–Former top rider at Remington Park, Juan Pulido, recorded a riding triple on Saturday night to move closer to the top 10 in this meet’s standings.
Pulido has been playing catchup since missing the early part of the meet due to a suspension. His three trips to the winner’s circle from his 10 mounts on Saturday gave him eight wins for the season and moved him from 15th in the standings to 13th overall.
Pulido was leading rider at Remington Park in 2021 with 46 wins for the meet. He finished third here in 2022 with 30 wins, behind Francisco Calderon’s 39, and was fifth last year with 25 trips to the winner’s circle, well behind Edwin Escobedo’s 43 wins.
