Armando Leon is no stranger to Quarter Horse racing, as he owns more than 100 horses and is among Mexico's top Quarter Horse breeders. His place in Mexico is named Rancho La Diecinueve (Ranch 19) and is located along a stretch of Quarter Horse ranches in Sinaloa that include those owned by Anjora Corporation's Carlos Sosa and Rancho El Alacran of Fighter On Fire and My Lady First fame.

Located along a popular local road known as 19th Street, Rancho La Diecinueve is home to Leon's stallion battery of Chicks Beduino Jr, Senior Solo and Diligents. Since Snitcher is a gelding, Leon purchased his unaltered full brother Long Gone for $52,000 at the 2010 Los Alamitos Equine Sale.

Long Gone - Armando Leon’s Long Gone scored a half-length victory over Double Bar S Ranch’s Igotyourtac in the seventh trial, covering the distance in :19.813. The colt by TR Dasher was disqualified from first and placed ninth for interference in the July 30 Governor’s Cup Futurity (RG2), the only time he has finished out of the money. Long Gone then posted a hard-fought second-place finish in the October 1 PCQHRA Breeders Futurity (G2). Long Gone’s win in this trial took his record to four victories from seven starts.

His sire Tr Dasher has sired 11 stakes winner, 1 world champion with earnings of $3,855.329. Among his foals are Champion of Champions(G1) winner Freaky ($973,472) and Governor's Cup Futurity winner Hard Hitting ($358,923).

Bred by AQHA Leading Breeder Edward C. Allred, Long Gone is a full brother to Grade 1 winner Snitcher ($212,269). His dam, a daughter of Raise A Secret, is out of a half-sister to champion Separatist ($899,044), Way Maker ($617,444), Make It Anywhere ($411,006), etc.
