Testing The Ice - Racing in the ninth trial, Testing The Ice defeated Grade 1 winner The Long Knife by three-quarters of a length to earn the eighth-fastest time. In February, Testing The Ice contested Kobe’s Los Alamitos Winter Derby (G1). He also won the 2011 Markel Stakes at Los Alamitos.

Cindy Knox’s Fayetteville, Arkansas-based Corner K Quarter Horses has bred horses for more than 10 years. During that time her horses have won 178 races in 1,204 starts, with earnings of more than $2.8 million, including Grade 1 winner Jess A Lil Bit More.

The First Down Dash stallion Stoli won the 2001 edition of the All American Derby, and in a championship-earning career also won the West Texas Futurity (G1) and earned $332,237. As a sire, Stoli has gotten the earners of more than $11.2 million, with 298 winners from 545 starters. His progeny include all-time leading money earner Stolis Winner, as well as champion Ketel Won. Stoli stands at Hart Farms in Kaplan, Louisiana.

Dam Streakin La Tac finished third in the 2003 Ruidoso Derby (G2), and was also a finalist in the Texas Classic Derby (G1) in a racing career that netted her $46,810. From five starters, she has produced three winners, including Grade 2-placed Eyesa La Tac (by Eyesa Special, $121,107). Streakin La Tac is owned by Debbie Strebig of Valley View, Texas.
