ALEXANDRIA, LA–JUNE 5, 2026–Interested buyers can now review consignments online for the upcoming LQHBA Yearling Sale scheduled for July 31 and August 1 at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana.

The annual Louisiana-bred yearling sale will feature 457 yearlings eligible to participate in the nation's premier state-bred Quarter Horse racing program. Hip numbers 1-229 will sell on Friday, July 31, while hips 230-457 will go through the ring on Saturday, August 1.

Louisiana-bred horses compete for more than $20 million in purse money annually, with a guaranteed minimum of 153 Quarter Horse race days.

All yearlings passing through the sale ring have been nominated to the 2027 $1 million LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity (RG1).

Consignors are reminded that all required sale paperwork must be submitted by June 26. Required documentation includes parentage-verified AQHA registration papers, a signed transfer, and a Louisiana-Bred Certificate. Additional sale information and forms can be found HERE.
