ALEXANDRIA, LA–JUNE 6, 2023–Interested buyers can review consignments online for the upcoming LQHBA Yearling Sale scheduled for Friday and Saturday, August 2-3, at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana.

The 48th annual Louisiana Bred Yearling Sale will feature 485 yearlings eligible to participate in the nations #1 state bred program. The two-day session starts on Friday, August 2nd, with hips 1-243 and ends on Saturday, August 3rd, with hips 244-485.

Louisiana-bred horses run for more than $20 million in purse money each year with a guaranteed minimum 148 Quarter Horse race days.

All yearlings passing through the ring have been nominated for the
$1-million-dollar 2025 LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity(RG1).
