2025 TQHA Yearling Sale Consignment Forms & AQHA Transfer Forms Due by May 1
Be sure to have your TQHA Yearling Sale consignment forms into the TQHA office by May 1, 2025.

2025 TQHA Yearling Sale Consignment Forms & AQHA Transfer Forms Due by May 1

ELGIN, TX–MARCH 10, 2025–The Texas Quarter Horse Association has announced that this year's TQHA Yearling Sale for Accredited Texas Bred Yearlings (foals of 2024) will take place on July 25th & 26th at the Exposition Hall at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio.

The Sale Consignment Forms and AQHA Transfer Forms are available for download on the TQHA website. CLICK HERE to access the forms.

If you are consigning yearlings for the 2025 sale, you will need to complete one consignment form for each yearling you are consigning and fill out the seller’s information section on the AQHA transfer report. This year, the consignment form is a fillable PDF. You can download it to your computer, fill in the information, and then print it out.

You may type your name in the signature fields, which will serve as your signature, or you can print the form and sign it by hand. Alternatively, you can print out the blank form and fill in the information manually. Please note that the AQHA Transfer Report must be printed and requires the seller's information and handwritten signature.

The deadline for submitting these forms is May 1, 2025. They MUST be received in the TQHA office by this date (they cannot be postmarked) to avoid being shut out. As many of you have experienced, USPS delivery can be quite slow, so TQHA recommends using Priority Mail, Priority Express, FedEx, or UPS for shipping.

NEW FOR THE 2025 SALE!
On the consignment form, just below the engagements section, there is a box you can check to indicate your intention to pay the Early Bird Nomination fee for the $75,000 Added 2026 Texas Breeders Futurity. Information about this race was emailed out last week and is also available HERE on the TQHA website.

If you check the box for participation, you must also submit a separate payment of $100 to cover the nomination fee. Payment can be made by check, cashier's check, or credit card. If you select this option, you do not need to fill out a nomination form for the 2026 Texas Breeders Futurity, as your consignment form will serve as the nomination form.

The TQHA requires the original Parentage Verified certificates of registration issued by AQHA. If you have submitted your registration paperwork to AQHA but have not yet received your certificates, it may be a good idea to contact AQHA for an update on the status of your documents.

If you have not yet submitted your registration paperwork, the TQHA strongly recommends that you do so as soon as possible. Consider paying the $100 rush fee to ensure your certificates arrive in time. The TQHA cannot allow a horse to pass through the sale ring without having the original AQHA certificates of registration on file.

Additionally, the correction fee charged by the TQHA will increase to $200. Please carefully review your registration certificates for accuracy, including your horse's colors, markings, and brands (if applicable), to avoid needing any corrections.

All horses that enter the sale ring will be eligible for the $200,000 Added 2026 TQHA Yearling Sale Futurity-RG1. TQHA anticipates a large sale this year, with last year’s average sale price exceeding $25,000! Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this growing event.

If you are not selling a yearling, be sure to look out for the catalog at the end of June to find your next stakes winner.

If you have any questions call or email Scott Sherwood, Director of Racing, at ssherwood@tqha.com or call the office at 512-458-5202.
