MEXICO CITY, MX–JULY 11, 2025–The Mexican Association of Quarter Horse Breeders and Owners (AMCCCCM) has released their 2025 Subasta Selecta Yearling Sale catalog. This year’s sale includes 500 cataloged yearlings, available now for download on the association’s website.

The auction will take place over three days, August 21-23, at the Hipodromo de las Americas. 200 yearlings will be sold on the first day and 150 on the following two days. The sale will begin at 3:00 PM on August 21 and 6:00 PM on August 22 and 23, aligning with evening races at the Mexico City racetrack.

Yearlings sold through this auction are eligible to compete in Mexico’s top futurities and derbies, provided all entry conditions are met, including the Subasta Selecta Futurity-RG3, Mexico Futurity-RG3, and Garanones Futurity-RG2.

This year’s Subasta Selecta Futurity-RG2 will hold trials on August 3 and 4 with the final is set for August 24, the day after the auction ends. A total of 147 two-year-olds paid all fees, creating a purse of $288,267 (U.S.).

This year’s offering features some of the best bloodlines in Mexico, with entries from 98 breeders across multiple states. Top consignors include Salomé Gallegos Fernández, Cuadra La Presita, Joaquín Ramón Peláez Cortés, Abelardo Gallegos Fernández, Maximiliano Pérez Castañeda, Cuadra Jalisco 3 Cruces, and Cuadra Las Palmas.

114 sires are cataloged, including A Regal Choice, Bullish One, Corona Caliente, Danny Cartel, Fast Prize Dash, Fearless Fritz, Jess Lips, Krash Cartel, Red Storm Cat, Second Painted Sign, Southern Corona, The Deadline, and Wave Carver.

The catalog features some of the industry's top female bloodlines, including those of AQHA World Champions such as Be A Bono, Blues Girl Too, Bodacious Eagle, Charger Bar, Dashing Folly, Dashs Dream, First Down Dash, Miss Merganser, Thermolark, and Whistle Stop Cafe.
