Kdb Dynasty Fastest Qualifier from First Day of Trials for the Wyoming Bred Futurity

Kdb Dynasty Fastest Qualifier from First Day of Trials for the Wyoming Bred Futurity

ROCK SPRINGS, WY–SEPTEMBER 16, 2023–On Saturday afternoon at Sweetwater Downs, Kdb Dynasty emerged as the fastest qualifier from the first day of trials for the $150,0000-est. Wyoming Bred Futurity.

After entries were taken on Wednesday, the trials were split into Saturday and Sunday cards, with seven trials scheduled for each day. The five fastest qualifiers from each day will be eligible for the final.

Kdb Dynasty ($4.20) won the fifth trial of the day with the day’s fastest time of :15.453 for 300 yards. The post-time favorite led from gate to wire and earned a 102 speed index.

Jesus Valenzuela was in the irons for trainer Kylie Valenzuela and owners Dustin Stanger and Kurt Stanger. The Jr Dynasty Mountain gelding was bred by Ron and Laurie Moosman, out of the Maknmoves mare Steffies Dashn Moves. Steffies Dashn Moves qualified to the same Futurity at Sweetwater in 2019.

Kdb Dynasty broke his maiden in his debut, a trial for the Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity. He returned to run fourth in the trial. He has won two of his three career starts and earned $10,457.

Second fastest qualifier Vvr Dianas Angel won the seventh and final trial of the day in :15.476 and earned a 101 speed index.

Vvr Dianas Angel ($10.20) was ridden by Oscar Cervantes for trainer Jorge Garfias. The Whata Corona Runner colt was bred by Mike Lipp, out of the Spit Curl Jess mare Princess Elsa.

VVR Dianas Angel has earned $12,800 for owner Triple G Racing, LLC. In his last start, he was fourth in the Wyoming Accredited Stallion Owners Futurity and is two for six lifetime.
