SACRAMENTO, CA–JULY 20, 2024–Noon It Is picked up his second consecutive win on Saturday and first black-type victory when he raced to a ¾ length victory in the $20,000 Jack Clifford Stakes at Cal Exp.

With a strong rally under jockey Alexander Chavez, Noon It Is held late to defeat post-time favorite Ima Sixy Man while clocking 15.731 seconds, an 85-speed index into a 10 mph headwind.

Trainer Adan Garcia conditions the 3-year-old California-bred owner Lucia Garcia. After going winless in three starts at 2, Noon It Is broke his maiden in his last start on July 4 at Pleasanton. 

Bred by Edward C. Allred, from the Bono Jazz mare Now You Comeat Noon, Noon It Is used the $11,270 Clifford winner's purse to boost his earnings total to $14,616.

Stakes winner Ima Sixy Man earned $4,080 for his second-place effort under jockey Epifanio Garcia.  Winner of the Jack Robinson Handicap in his last start on July 4 at Pleasanton, Ima Six Man races for owner Boardshorts Stables, LLC.

Emilio Guerrero trains the Corona Cartel Oklahoma bred from the Mr Jess Perry mare Jess So Sixy. Cavenaugh Quarter Horses LLC bred the $111,667 earner.

Outkicked, Jess Dream finished three-quarters back to earn $2,448 for third. Owner, breeder, and trainer Jose Alfredo Aguila named jockey Hugo Herrera to ride the California-bred son of First Down Mr Jess from the Dash To La Jolla mare La Melissa. The 3-year-old was making his second career start.

Cds Its Only Money, Dolly Talent, and Callaita completed the field.
