Condoned Wins Second Consecutive Stakes In $11,750 NDQHRA Shakeem Diva's Dash For Cash Stakes

FARGO, ND–JULY 21, 2024–Condoned gets her second consecutive win this season in the $11,750 NDQHRA Shakeem Diva's Dash For Cash Stakes (not black type) at North Dakota Horse Park on Sunday.

Chris Fackler led Condoned from wire-to-wire with a length victory over Silver Dakota Moon in :17.616 seconds, clocking a 107 speed index. The time was only 4/1000ths of a second off her time last week in the NDQHRA Streakin Zoomer Classic, which broke the 350-yard track record set in 2016. The post-time favorite's victory paid $3.00 to win.

Trained by Tyler Stein, Condoned has four career wins, and the $5,288 winner's share of the Sunday's purse increased her bankroll to  $21,008.

Tom Maher purchased Condoned for $14,000 in last year's Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale. Dr. Ed Allred bred the four-year-old filly in California out of the Hawkins stakes-winning mare Forgive Him, whose dam is a half-sister to champions Separatist and Way Maker. Condoned is a full brother to the Grade 1 winner, Forgets It.

Rider Oscar Jaques piloted Silver Dakota Moon to her second-place finish by two lengths over Casanovas Racy Miss and jockey Rey Hernandez.

Mallory Norton saddled Silver Dakota Moon for owner/breeder Randal Schwartz of Oklahoma. The daughter of Separate Interest has three wins and $41,941 in the bank. She is out of Cartel Dakota by Favorite Cartel.

Casanovas Racy Miss is conditioned by Francisco Estrada. The five-year-old mare broke her maiden in 2023 but has yet to win again from 15 starts. Bill Geditz, Jr owns the daughter of Racy Casanova. Michelle Meiwes bred her in Iowa out of the Dashin Bye mare Windys Dashin Bye.

Jess Can Jetaway, Kgs Wish and Jennas Quick Jess complete the order of finish. Windys Sweet Favorit was scratched.
