Never In Doubt, Wera C Is Easy Winner In $50,000 Oklahoma Juvenile Invitational

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 22, 2025—Ridden by jockey Nester Duran, Wera C was never in doubt as she galloped to a 1-1/2 length victory in the $50,000 Oklahoma Juvenile Invitational Saturday night at Remington Park.

Trainer Al Watson saddled the daughter of leading third-crop sire Flying Cowboy 123 to her first career win in as many career starts for owner CH Racing LLC. Ellis "Hank" Bird bred the $73,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate in Texas from the One Dashing Eagle Pillow Talk. The third dam is the Grade 3 winning and multiple stakes producing First Down Dash mare Send Me First.

Wera C earned $20,833 to increase her earnings total to $22,779.

Hf Kiss This Too, a $16,000 QHRAI Stallion Service Auction repurchase for owner-breeder Randy Haffner, finished second to earn $8,854. Trainer Dee Keener tapped jockey Roman Cruz to ride the Jess Being Valiant gelding out of Favorite Kiss by Favorite Cartel. Hf Kiss This Took broke his maiden in his career debut in the Oklahoma Futurity trials on March 8. Hf Kiss This Too has earned $14,692 in two starts.

Out nodded for the place, Right On Tyme earned $5,723 for third. Trey Wood conditions the $58,000 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate for owners Kelly Allen, Sandy Wood, and Alyssa Wood. Robicheaux Ranch bred the son of Apollitical Blood in Louisiana from the One Famous Eagle mare In the Spotlyte.

Alstarr, Hock Your Kisses, Instagram Diva, Corona Streakin Jess, and Bye Bye Baby Train completed the field. Armoer Of God Yg and Jay W were scratched at the gate.
