$23,500 Los Alamitos Equine Sale Graduate Rg Lethal Knight Wins The Revelacion Classic

MEXICO CITY, MEX–MAY 11, 2025–Seven three-year-old and older horses imported from the United States competed at the Hipodromo de las Americas on Sunday in the $17,600 Revelacion Classic. Post-time favorite Rg Lethal Knight held his ground with a wire-to-wire win in the 350-yard stakes race.

Huberclein Gomez piloted Rg Lethal Knight to a half-length victory over Bombay Temptress. The four-year-old gelding clocked an 83 speed index in 17.56 seconds. The winning effort paid $2.35 to win on 1-3 odds.

The $8,800 winner’s share of the purse boosted Rg Lethal Knight’s lifetime earnings to over $21,300, improving his record to 2-1-1 from four starts. Trainer Marlon Quezada saddled the son of Grade 1 sire One Sweet Jess for owner Rancho Las Gaviotas.

Veronica Gail Kawanankoa bred Rg Lethal Knight in California out of the First Down Dash mare Pretty Lethal. She sold him in the 2022 Los Alamitos Equine Sale for $23,500.

Rg Lethal Knight is a half-brother to stakes winner Easily Lethal. His dam is a half-sister to All American Futurity [G1] winner Jm Miracle. His second dam is Grade 1 winner Lethal Delight, who is a half-sister to champion Volcom Bay.  

Mexico Champion Older Mare Bombay Temptress placed second under the guidance of jockey Paul Osvaldo Rodriguez. The daughter of leading sire Tempting Dash has lit the board 17 of 29 starts with four wins and over $33,700 in the bank.

Bred by Robert Gordon of Texas, the $13,500 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate is out of Bomballerina by Brimmerton. Rene Camacho trains the six-year-old mare for owner Cuadra Leny.

Alejandro Gomez was aboard the third-place finisher Hes Genuine under the instruction of trainer Carlos Perez. The four-year-old colt has a record of 2-4-4 from 11 starts and $28,000 in earnings.

McColee Land and Livestock bred Hes Genuine in Utah and sold him in the 2021 Heritage Place Yearling Sale for $50,000. Cuadra Santa Elena owns the son of Corona Cartel.

Hes Genuine is out of the Dash Ta Fame mare Our Genuine Delight, who is a full sister to champions A Delightful Dasher and Hes My Dasher. His second dam is AQHA Dam of Distinction and Blue Hen Mare Fortune Of Delight, who is a half-sister to champions Tres Seis and Dean Miracle.

Space Cowboi, Dk El Chulo, Aj Bad Temptation, and Jubilee round out the order of finish.
