ALTOONA, IA–AUGUST 31, 2025–Rtm Hot Milk kept her perfect record intact on Sunday, breaking first from the gates and never relinquishing command for her fourth consecutive win in the $10,000 Idaho Bred Quarter Horse Futurity (not black type) at Blackfoot.
Rtm Hot Milk stopped the clock in 17.590 seconds while posting a 106 speed index in the 350-yard race under jockey Dakota Wood. She crossed the wire a full three-lengths ahead of the competition $5,500 winner’s share of the purse lifted her bankroll to $28,940 from four starts.
Owned by RTM Stables LLC and conditioned by Mark Hanson, Rtm Hot Milk was bred in Idaho by Susan Hanson. She is by Kiss My Hocks and out of Rtm Say Your Prayers, a daughter of Chickie Cherry Cola.
The victory marked Rtm Hot Milk’s third futurity score of the season, following earlier triumphs in the Idaho Cup Futurity at Pocatello Downs and the Prineville QH Futurity.
Mz Whisky gained late to finish second with Carmen Vasquez up for trainer Alejandro Martinez-Tellez and owner Sebastian Martinez. Bred in Idaho by Heladio Romero, the sorrel gelding by Never Tell is out of La Polbadera by Simply Macho. He remains a maiden but has posted four runner-up efforts from seven starts.
Mammazita, a gray filly by Pappasito, earned the third spot under Jossiah Bad Bear for trainer Shance Birdrattler and owner Tristan Birdrattler. She was bred in Idaho by Fredy Olmos and is out of the Streakin La Jolla mare Ladie La Jolla. Still a maiden from five starts, Mammazita was also a finalist in last month’s Charles M. Russell Futurity at Great Falls.
Gw Easy Jess, ridden by Jesus Virgen, completed the field. The daughter of Jess Got Easier is trained by Krystal Butterfield for owner-breeder Gil Wright.
