GILLETTE, WY—MAY 30, 2026—Ronald W. Addicott's homebred Lil Rider broke sharply from the rail and held off a late challenge from veteran stakes runner Ud Goldenboy to capture the $17,800 Bulldogger Overnight Stakes Saturday afternoon at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing.

The 5-year-old chestnut mare covered the 110 yards in :07.078 seconds, earning a speed index of 84 while scoring her first stakes victory of the season.

Ridden by Larren Delorme and trained by breeder-owner Ronald W. Addicott, Lil Rider broke best and maintained a narrow advantage throughout the dash, prevailing by a nose over Ud Goldenboy. The daughter of multiple stakes sire Pyc Fun N Fancy out of Park Avenue Air, by Dashair, earned the winner's share of $8,900 from the guaranteed purse.

Eleven-year-old gelding Ud Goldenboy finished strongly on the outside but came up just short in the final strides. The son of Jr Dynasty Mountain out of Bvlgari B, by Tac It Like a Man, races for owner-breeder Uriel Dominguez Lucero and is trained by Uriel Dominguez. Gerardo Vera had the riding assignment aboard the runner-up, who also posted a speed index of 84.

Completing the trifecta was Game for Corona Hot, a 6-year-old mare owned by RR Racing Stables and trained by Ricardo Robles. Jose Arriola-Serrano guided the daughter of Salt Point Bay out of Passtheflower, by Game Patriot, who was bred in Wyoming by Raul or Luis Caballero. She finished a head behind Ud Goldenboy.

Ud Cholula finished fourth, followed by Drive in fifth, Indeed in sixth, and Miz 307 in seventh to complete the order of finish in the Bulldogger Overnight Stakes.

The Bulldogger Overnight Stakes was contested over a fast track under cloudy skies before a field of seven Quarter Horses aged three and older. Lil Rider returned $17.40 to win as the second choice in the wagering.
