OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 30, 2026—Pyc Dollars Cowboy surged late to defeat pacesetter Whiskey Doc by a half-length in the $75,000 Easy Jet Stakes (RG2) for accredited Oklahoma-bred 2-year-old Quarter Horses Saturday night at Remington Park.
The gelding covered 350 yards in 17.669 seconds over a fast track while earning a speed index of 88.
Owned by Homero Hermilo Campa-Mireles and trained by Ramon Mendoza, Pyc Dollars Cowboy was ridden by Sergio Becerra Jr. The brown gelding is by leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of Pyc Dollars, by Pyc Paint Your Wagon, and was bred in Oklahoma by Matthew Eck. A $65,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate, he earned the winner's share of $42,750 from the $75,000 guaranteed purse.

Breaking from post four, Pyc Dollars Cowboy tracked the early leaders before digging in through the final strides to get up at the wire.
Whiskey Doc, a son of first-crop sire Docs Dusty Cartel owned by Dusty Rose Ranch LLC and trained by Stacey Capps, finished second under jockey Cody Smith. The gelding set the pace early and made a strong bid before being caught late, earning $14,250.
Third in the Liaco Bird Stakes(G3) and fourth in the Oklahoma Futurity(G2), Whiskey Doc has earned $67,131 in four starts. He is out of the Tac It Like A Man mare Jls Tacitlikejohn.
Heavy favorite Apollitikal Dreamer, owned by Brenda Reiswig, trained by Jason Olmstead, and ridden by Ramiro Garcia, closed for third and collected $7,838. The son of leading sire Apollitical Jess out of One Kool Dreamer, by Hes Relentless, started off a win in the Remington Park Juvenile in his last start on April 2. He has earned $52,054.
The complete order of finish was Pyc Dollars Cowboy, Whiskey Doc, Apollitikal Dreamer, D Molish, Be Iconic, Rgs Debutant, Dos Grandiose, Jt Midlife Crisis, Mw Bcause Im On Fire, and Kiss My Tail.
The Easy Jet Stakes was contested under clear skies with temperatures at 82 degrees and a 15 mph headwind.

Easy Jet (1967–1992) was a legendary American Quarter Horse racing World Champion racehorse, and one of the breed's most prolific all-time sires. Bred and owned by Walter Merrick, the sorrel stallion made a historic mark on the racing and breeding industries.
