PHOENIX, AZ—DECEMBER 15, 2019—California-bred Bouse recovered from an awkward start to keep his record a perfect 3-for-3 on Sunday while defeating Thats Whats Up by three-quarters in the $6,900 Rocky Jones Stakes (not black type) for 2-year-olds at Turf Paradise Sunday.

Ridden by jockey Joseph Belloc, Jr., Bouse completed the 400 yards in :19.938 seconds, equaling an 87-speed index. The brown daughter of leading 2-year-old sire Favorite Cartel picked up $4,150 to bring her bankroll to $11,316. Trainer Tyler Gibbs conditions Bouse for owner Joseph Belloc. Steve D. Burns bred the unbeaten filly from the Foose mare No Arizona.

Thats Whats Up came in leaving the gate under jockey Logan Cormier and was disqualified and placed last by the track stewards for interference.

Mi Sombra was moved to second and picked up $1,338 for owners John and Mary Allred. John also trains the FDD Dynasty filly out of Coup Of Corona by Corona Cartel. Luis Valenzuela was riding the Celina Molina Oklahoma-bred.

Scoochie, a California-bred son of Master Call, finished 1-¼ lengths back and was moved to third. Owned-and-trained by Jesus Torres-Casas, Scoochie is out of the Takin On The Cash mare Fortheloveofyou. Bred by Cathy Monji, the sorrel filly earned $669 for the effort.

Completing the official order of finish were Pcr Flashin The Cash, Littleroyaldasher, Brockmire and Realism. Dash N Carter was scratched.
