PHOENIX, AZ—DECEMBER 23, 2019—Under jockey Jorge Bourdieu, Whiskeys Quicker led wire-to-wire, getting her neck in front of Coronas Bar in the $9,750 Dashing All The Way Stakes (not black type) Monday afternoon at Turf Paradise Racetrack. Ima Special Reb was a nose back in the blanket finish to get third.

The 3-year-old Arizona-Bred daughter of multiple stakes sire Jesse James Jr completed the 100 yards in :06.536 seconds to equal an 89 speed index. It was the fourth win in six starts this year for Whiskeys Quicker.

Bred-and-trained by Matthew Fales, Whiskeys Quicker races for owner's Carolyn and Ralph Fales. Out of the multiple stakes producing Takin On The Cash mare Watchin The Rain, Whiskeys Quicker has compiled an overall record of (12) 4-2-2 and today's purse valued at $5,803 boosted her earnings total to $24,74.

Runner-up, the royally-bred Coronas Bar races for owner-breeder San Gregorio Racing Stables Inc. and is conditioned by Danny Montes. The son of Corona Cartel out of Five Bar Molly by Dash Ta Fame is a full-brother to champion Five Bar Cartel. Mckenzie King had the riding assignment aboard the Oklahoma-bred earner of $38,088.

Eloy Navarro saddled Ima Special Reb to her third-place finish for owner Jo Ann Di Filippo. Martin Osuna was aboard the 6-year-old Rebs Royal Dasher mare out of Angelina Special by Ausual Suspect. Bred in Arizona by W.D. Herbert, Ima Special Reb has earned $10,522.

Completing the official order of finish were Snootie Socialite, Shenanigans Regard, El Tipasso, Takoradi, Mr Pure Vida and Shez Ifs.
