Hes A Famous Eagle Scores Third Consecutive Win In Sweetwater Downs Stakes

ROCK SPRINGS, WY—SEPTEMBER 5, 2020— Hes A Famous Eagle, under jockey Tyson Lusk, got his third consecutive win on Sunday by defeating Eyesa Special Snoopi by a neck in the $12,000 Sweetwater Downs Stakes (not blacktype) in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Conditioned by trainer Travis Lusk, Hes A Famous Eagle completed the 400 yards in :19.704 seconds, equaling a 99 speed index with the aid of a 25 mph tailwind.

The son of leading sire One Famous Eagle, from the First Down Dash mare Shes The Fashion, races for owner Rod Parkinson. A 4-year-old, Hes A Famous Eagle used the $6,000 winners' purse from today to boost his earnings total to $22,429. Muller Racing LLC is the breeder.

Broken Bones Cattle Company's homebred Eyesa Special Snoopi picked up $3,000 for second. Trainer Jesse Villegas named jockey David Jimenez to ride the son of Eyesa Special Slim from the Six Charlie Brown mare Lil Charlotte Swirl. Winner of last year's Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity, Eyesa Special Snoopi has earned $33,553.

Locomotion Girl, a 4-year-old daughter of champion sire Desirio, finished half-a-length back to earn $1,200 for third. Scott Goodrich saddled the 4-year-old filly for owner Albert Sacco. Bred in Utah by The Running A LLC, Locomotion Girl has earned $25,223. She is out of Commotion Motion by Country Chicks Man.

A Toast To Brindis, American Hat, Staubauch, Cente Version, Stellar Cartel, Wonce In A Blue Moon and Alma The Younger competed the field.
